Fallen: Detroit is available now…
The first book in my Fallen series, Detroit, is now available for general release at Total e-Bound. Yay! Check it out here. Plus if you haven’t bought it all ready, it’s discounted as well. That’s a bonus.
In addition to that, Reno, the second Fallen book, is available for Pre-release download as well. Buy it today and if you’re a VIP, you can read it today.
I’m working on the fifth book in the series, and have to do edits on Chicago, which is the fourth book. So I’m busy with those.
I hope you all have an awesome weekend.

Fallen: Reno
Fallen: Reno is up for pre-order now at Total e-Bound. Click here to check it out. I have to admit I’m happy to be able to re-introduce the world to my fallen angels and the mortals who love them.
So the first four books in the series will be out this year, then the last four will be out next year. I think they’ll be out in print as well, two to a book.
I’m keeping my fingers crossed that you enjoy all of them. While it might seem like I’m a paranormal writer, I do have other books in the works right now that will be all different genres. Just like my other pen name, T.A. Chase, I don’t plan on settling down on one sub-genre to write my M/F stories.
I hope you all have a great Monday.

Wednesday Work in Progress
I’m still working on Fallen: New York, but since what I’ve been doing is the end part of the book, I don’t really want to share it with you…lol. I thought I’d give you a snippet from a Fantasy/Shifter/Paranormal I was working on before I had to start New York.
This one is titled The Unicorn Said Yes, and it features a witch and a unicorn shifter. Yay!
The Unicorn Said Yes copyright c. 2013 Tiffany Aaron
Excerpt-
Ivan raced through the forest, dirt flying from beneath his hooves. What the hell were hunters doing in his woods? No one with blood on his hands or evil in his heart should’ve been able to breach the border, but here they were, chasing him like an animal.
He tossed his head, and beams of moonlight reflected off his horn. Ivan wasn’t an idiot. He knew why they were there, and what they wanted from him, but he wasn’t ready to die or give up his magic to selfish men.
His hooves barely made a dent in the lush undergrowth as he ran for his life. Ivan splashed through the cold stream, hoping it would confuse them, though he knew they were too close behind him to be thrown off for long. Ivan’s heart pounded in his chest with fear.
Being one of the most powerful of the unicorn shifters, it had been centuries since anyone had tried to hunt him, and usually he wouldn’t have been caught off-guard by the humans. Yet his attention was fractured by a call coming from one of the clearings. Ivan knew what drew him there, but again he didn’t understand how it could happen.
The humans’ shouts chased after him, and Ivan dashed on down the trail, trying to go in the opposite direction as the clearing, because he accepted instinctively that his death waited for him there.
Silence hung over the trees, except for the harsh cries of the hunters, and the sound of his breathing rough in his ears. Ivan ducked under a low hanging branch, then planted his feet and turned so quickly, the spear that had been thrown barely grazed his shoulder before piercing the tree that had been in front of him.
They were herding him, and Ivan couldn’t fight against it. He couldn’t use his power when he was in his unicorn form, and they weren’t giving him any chance to shift. It wasn’t easy for him to shed his animal shape. In fact, it was quite painful and drained him of energy for a short time. So he tended only to do it when absolutely necessary.
As he crashed closer and closer to the clearing, the geas tempting him grew stronger, and Ivan understood that he wouldn’t be able to fight it for much longer. If only his fellow herd members were there, but they’d taken the colts and fillies to the beach to play for a few days, leaving him to guard their home.
Ivan should’ve known some terrible fate was upon him when he woke that morning to a brilliant red sunrise. When the sky looks like blood, one had to be careful about what was to come the rest of the day.

Monday Update
Good morning, everyone. It’s another Monday here, and I have a long way to go to get New York finished by next Monday. I ended up scraping what I had written and starting over. it went well there for a while, then my muse decided it didn’t want to work on fallen angles anymore. So I started writing a short story about an older woman/younger man set in the Regency era. I got the first chapter completed, and I might work on it for a little while today to see if I can get my muse jumpstarted for the other books I have to work on.
I hope you all have a great day.

Wednesday Works in Progress…
I thought I’d give everyone a sneak peek at my next Fallen book, New York. Christian Vosberg is one of the most powerful Enforcers in the country. An Enforcer is a fallen angel whom God has tasked with the job of keeping the unrepentants (or fallen angels who haven’t asked for forgiveness) under control. But Christian’s been dancing along the edge of the abyss for a while now, and it wouldn’t take a lot to push him over the edge where he’ll become one of the very creatures he hates. If you read Fallen: Chicago when it comes out in December, you’ll meet Christian.
I have three guys in this series that I love. Mika’il (the archangel), Christian, and Lucifer. Now each of them gets their own book…and I’m sure you’re not going to like Lucifer much until you get to his story. But I hope to redeem him in the end.
All right now…here’s a little excerpt of some interaction between Christian and Lucifer.
Fallen: New York copyright 2013 T.A. Chase
Excerpt:
Christian stood between Joan and Lucifer, his hands clenched tight as he glared at the fallen.
“Did you do it?” He had to ask, even if the answer might destroy him.
“What it are you referring to? There are an infinite numbers of its I could have done.” Daystar’s eyes flashed acknowledgement, and Christian was pretty sure he knew exactly what Christian was talking about.
“The Towers? Did you cause that?”
Lucifer looked off towards the empty skyline where the towers had once stood. “Some would believe I caused it. Others chose to believe they did for their god.”
“That’s bull shit. There’s only one higher being, and whether you call Him God, Allah, or any other name, He doesn’t want people to die in His name.” He took a step closer to Lucifer. “Tell me the truth, if you’re capable of doing that anymore.”
Emotion flitted over Lucifer’s face, but it was too quick for Christian to tell what it was.
“Why should I bother? You’ll believe what you want, no matter my words. Do you think I had anything to do with it?”
“Yes, I think you stood there and gloated. You’ve encouraged the evil these mortals do to each other. You’ve done it since Adam and Eve were in the garden, and you convinced her to eat the apple.”
Lucifer lifter his hand in protest. “Now you’re buying into their own propaganda, Christian. I wasn’t there, and I’ll keep saying that until my last breath. Why should I get the blame because Eve couldn’t keep her greedy hands off a stupid apple? They used me as a scapegoat for their own disobedience.”
Christian grabbed Lucifer by the lapels before dragging the fallen an inch from him. “You’ve caused all the evil in this world with your arrogance and indifference. Why do you care that they lie about you? Why did you fall, Lucifer? What made you hate God so much you rebelled against Him?”
Two of the most powerful fallen angels stared at each other. Dark blue battled with endless black. Joan shifted slightly, and Lucifer’s gaze shot over to her. Despair burned in those dark eyes, even more shattered desperation than she ever saw in Christian’s.
“Ask him why he chose to fall? Is he truly angry at me or does he explode outwards to ease his own pain?” Lucifer spoke to her, ignoring the curses coming from Christian. Then he turned back to look at Christian.
Shock raced through Joan, and it was mirrored on Christian’s face when Lucifer kissed him on the cheek.
“I take the blame for many things mortals do to each other, but why should I quietly accept it when it brings the hatred of someone I used to call friend?”
In a blink, Lucifer was gone.
“Damn, I hate when he won’t stick around to defend himself,” Christian muttered.
Joan wasn’t sure why she said what she said next, but the words slipped out. “Maybe he doesn’t see the point of defending himself when you’ll never give him the benefit of the doubt. You’ve judged him guilty already, Christian. Lucifer doesn’t strike me as the type to constantly hit his head against a brick wall.”
Christian glared at her, his eyes gleaming. “You’re defending him now?”
“I’m not saying he hasn’t done terrible things since he was banished. What I’m saying is Lucifer knows what you think of him and how you feel. Changing your mind is useless to him”
