I have been away for a long while. I was caught up in a reality TV storm that never saw the light of day or television screen. But now I'm back and focusing on two new books. The first is Adventure #4 in my Edgar Font's Hunt of a House to haunt series. The second is a science fiction adventure. I have just completed the first chapter of that book, which I hope to have finished and published by the end of this year (2010). If you are on Twitter you can find me @patrickhtdoyle if you are on facebook look me up under phtdoyle. I will keep you up to date on the books. If you are a reviewer and would like to be added to my list of first readers please send me a message. ~phtd
I have a 9-yr old that loves to read. I am struggling though for books that are not too young (Secrets of Droon) or too old (Lightning Thief). Most that I am coming across are just a year beyond his range...what age is your series best for?
Hello from Italy!Congatulations on the Edgar Font's website: it's FANTASTIC!!!
I'll soon begin reading Edgar's adventures.
Have a nice Sunday.

I want to apologize for the all the recommendations from me yesterday. I wanted to share the Stoker Award news, and I only pressed the send button once--I'm not sure what happened to create so many messages. Some weird glitch.Argh...this is terrible...
Again, I'm very sorry.

Here’s wishing you a nifty New Year filled with noiseless noses, neato nicknames, noble Nebraskans, gnarly narcoleptic nebulas, and novel novels about nut-eating narwhals and novercaphobic gnats. -Jeremy :)
P.S.—I’m currently offering autographed/personally-inscribed copies of my novel, Vacation, with free shipping for those in the US. If there’s anything you could do to help me spread the word about this, I’d really appreciate it. Feel free to click here for details:

Hi Patrick, thanks for the comment, and thanks for adding me. Been reading your profile, and it seems like you're a published writer! Very impressive! I dabble in creative writing as a hobby, but I don't think I could attempt a solid plotline for the life of me! ^_^
I see, with those books, that you have kissed the Blarney Stone, Patrick, m'boy.May the luck of the Irish always be with you Patrick!
I love this site too - but, don't you dare take too long of a break from writing.. :) I can't wait for the next adventure with Grandpa Font & your new book - with the adorable bears... Make sure you have two lables with my name on 'em..!haha!
Smiles,
-RJ xx
