I was born and I grew up in Berlin and actually, I looove my city. Well most, ops, all of my novels are set in Berlin. I' m a painter, and have also been working in the film industry for more than ten years. My career as a novelist began with an idea for a film script.

My debut novel, Radio Gaga (Beltz), was awarded the Peter Härtling Prize, the Young Readers of Vienna Jury Prize, and the Golden Leslie. I have been writing YA, NA and all-ages novels since 2005.

My first New Adult Novel "Loving" is the first novel translated into english but - there's more to come ;) ...more

"Loving" News

A major german publisher sold the print-rights of "Loving" and its going to publish the book in april 2015. Yeah, sorry to say: In german.
But - I kept the rights for US and UK, so the book still will be available in english after april 2015.
