Jack Strange has just signed with Coffin Hop Press
Coffin Hop Press
My noir crime novel Manchester Vice will be published by the Canadian publishers Coffin Hop Press in November this year.
CHP is a very progressive outfit run by people who care passionately about storytelling.
I'm delighted they've agreed to work with me.
They're well-informed about writing, they've put some terrific authors into print, and their reputation will greatly enhance my profile as a writer.
I like to think that the relationship will also be good for them!
What I'm bringing to the table is a book which one of their principals has described as 'compelling'. It'll be published as part of their 'Noirvellas' series of books. The series is to be launched later this month with the release of Axel Howerton's amazing crime story Con Morte.
Blurb
Here's a blurb I've written for Manchester Vice (CHP will probably improve on it):
A conventional middle-aged man undergoes a character change and carries out a series of brutal murders: why?
This is the question posed on the first page of Manchester Vice. The remainder of the novel provides the answer, by plotting the journey of the protagonist Bradley Sharpe from family man to serial killer.
His journey involves keeping secrets from his family and friends, telling lies, and being constantly wrong-footed by unexpected turns of events. His story is fast-paced and will keep you guessing right until the final sentence.
Look out for Manchester Vice this November!
