Née en 1980, Emilie de Turckheim publie à vingt-quatre ans Les Amants terrestres (Le Cherche Midi). Son expérience de visiteur à la prison de Fresnes lui inspire en 2008 Les Pendus (Ramsay). En 2009, elle reçoit le prix de la Vocation pour Chute Libre (ed. du Rocher). Elle publie en 2012 Héloïse est chauve (éditions Héloïse d’Ormesson) qui a reçu le prix Bel-Ami.
