DAYDREAMS, my first published novel was released in 1991 (yep, you read that right), under the pseudonym Marina Palmieri (my Sicilian grandmother’s name), because back then, publishers often included a clause in the contract whereby they legally owned the author’s name, even if it was her true name. Also way back then, I handwrote my manuscripts then typed them on a correcting Selectric typewriter. Adding one paragraph meant retyping the whole chapter. My first personal computer, a Commodore 64, was still a few years away (I was a bit of a holdout). Cell phones and the world wide web were in their infancy and I did research using a set of encyclopedias.

Well, I’m sure you are all aware of just how much technology (& lots of other aspects) has changed since then. So you can imagine how very excited I am to announce that, after substantial revisions and updating, DAYDREAMS is now available in e-book!

But that's just the beginning. PRETTY MAIDS IN A ROW and SEE HOW THEY RUN, the two thrillers that put my name on bestseller lists, are also finally in e-book.

So that's 3 up, 2 in progress and 17 to go!

Counting down to August 3rd & the release of the 3rd book in the Crystal Island series about the haunted Florida hotel - GHOST LOVER.
Also making progress with Book 4, Buried Treasure. PLUS, I'm pleased to say I've already gotten back a converted copy of the first of my backlist. So there will be no playtime in August!

Given my limited techno-proficiency and lengthy backlist, I've decided to have someone else convert and list the books on-line for me, one at a time over the next year. Harder decision was which one first.

Work on my new book in the Crystal Island series got set aside while I've been lost in the Information Jungle. I've been in search of the definitive path to creating and offering e-book versions of my backlist of previously print-published books. Whether I SHOULD is not in question...I simply MUST.I think I've finally chosen a company to help me but now I'm in a quandary over which of my books I should start with - the thrillers, time-travel, science fiction, lighthearted romance or all the way on the other end of the spectrum, metaphysical non-fiction. Any thoughts?
