Jenny Morton Potts was born in a smart, dull suburb of Glasgow where the only regular excitement was burglary. Attended a smart, dull school where the only regular excitement was the strap. Worked in smart, dull sales and marketing jobs until realising she was living someone else’s life.

Escaped to Gascony to make gîtes. Knee deep in cement and pregnant, Jenny was happy. Then autism and a distracted spine surgeon who wanted to talk about The Da Vinci Code, wiped out the order. Returned to wonderful England – and unlikely ever to leave again – Jenny, with assistance from loyal hound, walked and swam her way back to manageable health.

Jenny would like to see the Northern Lights but worries that’s the best bit and should be saved till last.

Why, Marius Gabriel, aren't you Marius Gabriel?

I believe it will be out on April 1st. It's called Romy & Raphael, at the moment, but for April 1st who knows what I may decide.

Just need a cover. Considering the black and white photo of boy and woman in hammock on my website, with a little coloured emblem. Perhaps on the child's sleeve. Perhaps a tricolour. Something nice and accessible to the reader.

Thank you for your interest. (Have I seen you on a quiz?)

very best regards

Frankenwhore

Picture

Went in to kiss my son goodnight. 'Take a look at the picture, Mum.'
This is Frankenwhore, apparently. Some quick decisions to make; it's late. Obviously he has copied this from the Internet and it throws up at least a dozen issues, all of which need careful thought in terms of presentation since my son, Flint, is autistic and has a low level of comprehensio Read more of this blog post »
