2023 so far ...

It's been a while since I checked in here! I've been a little busy:

* Finishing the standalone book I started early in 2022. It's currently with my proofreaders – keep an eye out for publication announcements!

* Organising in-person events for me and for other Suffolk authors.

* Taking part in a fantastic free evening of Poetry and Prose from three Suffolk authors (thank you to everyone who came and supported us!).

* Gathering more books from Suffolk authors for the Local Author Shelf in Bury St Edmunds.

* Taking part in the brilliant Indie Author Book Fair in Cambridgeshire last weekend.

* Looking for a new home for the Local Author Shelf and future in-person events when the venue we've been working with sadly went out of business.

It's been a rollercoaster so far! Here's to the next few months ...

Introducing the Foreword Festival!

I'm so excited to announce that I'm one of the organisers of the first literary fringe festival in the UK!

Looking for literature on the fringe? Searching for something outside the mainstream? The Foreword Festival will bring you graphic novels, SF and fantasy, comedy, poetry, children's books, non-fiction and more. Meet the authors and discover new genres and new stories, plus we'll have books from three unique indie publishers, and workshops to develop your writing and publishing skills.

Follow the festival on Instagram (@forewordfestivaluk), Twitter (@forewordfestuk) and Facebook (Foreword Festival UK), and head to our website for more information: www.forewordfestival.uk . Shares and reposts extremely welcome!

Save the date, tell your friends, and join us in the historic Guildhall in Bury St Edmunds for an amazing bookish weekend. See you there!
