I bet you thought that Pumpernickel Art had taken the summer off! Well, no...that would be nice, but we have something planned that's WAY more fun.

NEXT MONDAY (7/20), we're taking Burlwood Forest on the road to the Durham County Library (NC) for Lunchtime Adventures! Ages 1-18 are invited to stop by and enjoy a hot meal while listening to an AMAZING story. We can't wait!

Thanks again to the Durham County Library for inviting me to ‪#‎LunchtimeAdventures‬ yesterday! I had SUCH a great time! Not only was I able to hang out with some VERY cool kids, but I also got to read one of my favorite books, The Very Hungry Caterpillar! What an AMAZING program!

And guess what? Burlwood Forest is NOW available at the Main Branch in Downtown Durham! QUICK! Go check it out!

It wouldn't be summer without Lunchtime Adventures! Next Monday, I'm heading back to the Durham County Library for one of my favorite yearly traditions.

This Saturday (6/15), I'm excited to attend this year's kick-off for Lunchtime Adventures, an incredible program that seeks to promote literacy and combat hunger in the summer months.

Stop by to support the Durham County Library, and join me at the TA Grady Community Center from 10am-1pm. I'll be hanging out with the Bookmobile and handing out bookmarks.
