Childhood spent as a semi- hypochondriac might have been part of the reason Dr H Murray ended up being a Doctor. At least that is how he justified it. Or it might have been due to his loving but conservative parents encouragement. He wasn’t quite sure, but it happened.
Dr H stumbled and fumbled his way through senior school with no clear direction or any ambition whatsoever, and almost by accident he found himself in Med School at Adelaide University.
This part of his life is a bit of a blur. He was definitely more focused on the University bar than academia, but again, true to form and after a gap year which was supposed to provide him with introspection and motivation, but failed on both fronts, he miraculously graduated.
