So, the new Steven Universe episodes came out.

WOW!

Don’t read anymore if you haven’t seen it yet.

I mean it don’t.

I’m warning you.

Okay here we go.

So Rose Quartz was Pink Diamond. It feels weird to be sort of right. I say sort of because I was feeling that I was wrong when the last bunch of new episodes came out and we saw the new Pink Diamond and stuff. Joke is on me.

Now that we know Rose Quartz was Pink Diamond the question becomes where do we go from here. One the reasons, I thought I might have been wrong about Rose Quartz being be Pink Diamond was because I thought it would be too easy for the show to make up with the other diamonds if they found that.

However, after watch the episodes and looking around I realized no this is the hard path.

For one thing there is no guarantee that Yellow or Blue will ever believe the Crystal Gems or Steven. I’m sure there is a way for Steven to prove it somehow, but here is the thing.

Rose Quartz/Pink Diamond is gone.

The Diamonds are never going to be together again because Rose Quartz gave birth to Steven.

Their refusal to listen to their sister caused them to lose thousands of years of togetherness and they can’t fix it because she is gone.

There are questions the Crystal Gems have to ask themselves about whether or not they were truly being themselves or were they just listening to another Diamond.

And what about the corrupt gems? They were corrupted and hurt for nothing in the end. Even if they are healed now how are they going to feel at the end of the day about all that has happened.

The most tragic thing of all is probably Rose Quartz herself. I truly believe that she wanted Earth to be free and for the gems to be themselves. I recall the back story when Garnet first met Rose. She asked Rose, “I don’t upset you?”

“Who cares about how I feel. How you feel is bound to be much more interesting.”

Rose didn’t really want people to care about how she felt. She wanted gems to be themselves. She wanted the earth to be free. She wanted to be free.

Yet, was she ever? The Crystal Gems needed a leader and by all accounts she tried to be the best one she could be. She kept so many secrets that she probably didn’t share all to Pearl. After all, Pearl didn’t know about Lion. That would made anyone lonely. She never made up with her Diamond Sisters, and she never knew how much they loved her.

Rose made some bad decisions and probably didn’t know exactly what she was doing.

But it is like Garnet said, “She didn’t always do what was best for her. But she always did what was best for Earth.”

I can’t wait to see what happens next.

Okay, so I’m updating to let you guys know what is going on. I have good news and bad news follow by possible good news. The good news is That Lotus Caretaker is speeding along editing, and I will probably have it out this year unless something bad happens. So cross your fingers. I will let you know when it will be ready for publishing.

Here is the bad news. I’m going to slow down writing the Codex universe. I’m not giving up on writing the books, it’s just I’m not making any money of of them. That wouldn’t necessary be a bad thing expect due to a lot of things going on in my life this is the only way I make any money, which I’m not because barely anyone buys them.  So I’m switching to try something new. If you want me to write more Codex books, then you can help by spreading the word, writing reviews, and buying the books to give to people. Reviews on goodreads and Amazon help me out a lot. Now don’t panic if you really like the book universe. I’m going to keep writing it. It just going to be a little slower is all. The Silver Codex IV will come out probably in 2018. I might also write more Lotus Caretaker books because it’s a novella series so they are somewhat quicker to write, and The Blue Codex II will happen. I’m just slowing down.

I have decided to try my hands at a children book. Partly to shake things up creatively and partly because tons of people want me to write a children’s book. I’m not sure why, but I’m going to try it. I’m still in the very early stages of that, but with any luck I will have that ready for 2018.  That is all I’m going to tell for you know. Hopefully you will enjoy this book series as much as the Codex series.

Sorry, this is out so late. I have been busy with a book project. My Muse is very moody about stories, and when she wants me to do a idea she won’t stop annoying until I do it. Anyway, here is the list of my twenty favorite male characters.

Brisco County Jr.from The Adventures of Brisco County-  Why don’t more people know about this show. I mean look at that picture below, Bruce Campbell is riding a rocket! What is wrong with you people? Seriously, Brisco is one of my favorite cowboys as he not tough in all the stereotypical ways, but is cunning and smart. He went to law school! Why can’t this get a reboot, movie, not even a comic book? Anything please?

Luffy from One Piece- I think my favorite thing about Luffy is the fact he has one of the greatest powers ever. Not the ability to stretch, but being able to make friends. It might be the greatest power, but it’s downplayed both in fiction and the real world. One Piece actually acknowledge how important it’s and how good Luffy is at using it. Plus while Luffy is simple, he is not stupid, or at least not annoyingly stupid. He has a unique take on everything. My favorite scene is probably when says he not a hero just because he doesn’t want to share meat.

Sherlock Holmes from most Sherlock Holmes Franchise-  It very rare for me to find a Sherlock that I hate. Most of the bad ones to me are just boring. They are never down right awful, but that usually when the people involved with the story are too focus on the mystery and Sherlock’s intelligence. Don’t get me wrong it’s a very important part of Sherlock, but it’s just one element.  He get bored easily at things, his friendship to Watson, and his odd habits that make sense only to him. Sherlock is an unique character even after all these years.

Indiana Jones from Indiana Jones Franchise- Indiana Jones is the gruff archelogist who often is off track while hunting for the world’s greatest treasures, but he always finds his way back. He is not perfect, but that is what makes him fun. Not to mention he is one of the few people that knows you bring a gun to a sword fight!

Lupin III and Jigen from Lupin III-  I really should had put these two on my friendship list in hindsight.  This really is an epic bromance from anime probably because it made by to two great characters. You have Jigen who can hit anything with a gun and is the only thing to anchor Lupin. Then there is Lupin who I truly believe stole from Lady Luke, which is how he can break the laws of physics to get away with his stole goods. Both maybe criminals, but they are criminals with hearts.

The A-Team from A-Team- Another group I should have probably put on my friendship list. All these guys are awesome. Face with his charm, Murdoc with his craziness, B.A. with his heart, and Hannibal with his planning. Together they are greatest team to take on any bad guys who push innocent people who are trying to live their lives to fullest.

William Murdoch from Murdoch Mysteries-  I love mysteries, and Murdoch is one of my favorite detectives from the genre. For one thing it rare to find a Catholic who are scientific, but still very religious. He and Dot from Miss Fisher Mysteries, are the closest I have seen of Catholic character facing modern ideas and still keeping to their faith, yet being open to change. He is also one of the most polite detective I have ever seen. I would say that was because he was Canadian, but I have seen his boss on the show. There aren’t as many polite Canadians as you would think.

Static Shock from Static Shock-  I love this cartoon! A lot of the had to do with the main character Static. He was cool, but at the same time nerdy with being a comic book and movie buff. It also nice to have a character enjoy being a hero. That was his first thought when he got his powers, and despite all crazy stuff he goes through he still enjoys being a hero. It so refreshing with so many character whine about wanting normal lives.

Zorro from Zorro Franchise-  I always think Zorro is unique because nothing tragic really happens to him that causes him to become a hero. He just picked up his sword when he saw injustice and fights. Not to mention he is really clever. A lot of his plans are on par with Sherlock Holmes. What can I say I’m sucker for smart characters.

Michelangelo from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Franchise- I don’t care what anyone says. Mickey is the best turtle as he is the funniest and heart of his family. He is a comfort because no matter how dark or light the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle story is going to be for a series or even an episode, who will lighten the mood for his family because that is his job.

Tommy Oliver from Power Rangers-  Here is a character that runs on just being awesome. I’m it Tommy, the first Green Ranger. The ranger who I think has had been the most colors out of any Ranger in history. Just go watch Power Rangers. Tommy’s awesomeness is something that needs to be seen to believe.

Shade from Starman-  I think my two favorite things about Shade is his honesty, which is really refreshing to me in someone who knows they are probably a villain and his manners. His politeness is let off balancing, but it never feels like his is trying to manipulate people with it like other characters do. Plus since he is honest you know when he cares about something or someone that he really means it and will go to whatever links to help them.

Yusuke Urameshi from Yu Yu Hakusho-  One of the first anime heroes I have ever seen.  Yusuke doesn’t take many things serious, but when he does he is a force to reckon with. He also has a unique character journey as he becomes a better person by being geine with his feelings, but that doesn’t translate into stopping from him being a smartass or caring about school like I often see. It much bigger and in many more important then that.

The Seventh Doctor from Doctor Who-  Hands down the best Doctor. He was funny and witty, but also dangerous and clever. He had excellent taste in umbrellas and sweater vests. Not to mention he fought off Daleks, Cybermen, Nazis, and knights from another dimensions using space guns! The seventh doctor was awesome!

Batman from Batman Franchise-  To me, should be smart, strong, intelligence, dark but only to a certain point, and a father figure who is connected to others. Yeah, I know that last one seems odd, but I don’t like how people try to make Batman a loner. To me, it’s only natural for someone who lost their family to want to rebuild a new one. My favorite Batman media often has him working with someone, especially Robin because I like seeing Batman reconnect to people. When that happens if feels to me like I’m watching or read the Batman. Not just a Batman.

 

Watakuni from xxxHolic- I didn’t realize how much I am liked Watakuni until I was making this list. I think it’s because we have similar journeys of character growth where we both are trying to find value of our existence.  Watakuni was able to find meaning and value in himself and the people who truly cared about him. I’m still working on finding my own value as I often still feel like I have none, but Watakuni gives me hope that someday I will be able to find it.

Kurogane from Tsubasa Chronicles- I really like Kurogane journey in Tsubasa as he does learn true strength while traveling dimensions. He is very serious and brooding, but he can also be really funny when he is angry about the dozens of nicknames Fai gives him. He is just so much fun to watch no matter what he is doing.

Yami and Yugi from Yu-Gi-Oh-  One of my first anime heroes, and still one of my favorites. I like how Yami is cool and regal while Yugi is innocent and optimistic. The thing both of them value is friendship with others and between each other. They play very well off each other.  Plus he was voice by Dan Green who some how made everything he said sound amazing.

Firo Prochainezo from Baccano-  The best word to describe Firo is loyal. When he gives out loyalty it is 100% and he appreciates those who help him and are loyal to him. Even though he is a gangster is never cruel. He will beat up people, but often when he is attacked first or they are really awful. He is also the best gangster with a sense of humor.

Deadpool from Deadpool Franchise- There has only been two superheroes movies I have seen in theaters. Wonder Woman, which is awesome and everyone needs to see it, and Deadpool. I can totally get behind a superhero that uses humor a defense for life. It actually a little concern this maybe the closest I have seen someone capture my family’s humor, and all the ways we use it. Deep down Wade has good side to him that shines through more then he knows.

 

Okay, so my theories about Pink Diamond and Rose Quartz being the same probably wrong after the last Steven Bomb, and I have been thinking about things. Obviously the big question now is who shatter Pink Diamond, and a second question I don’t see many people talk about. The question being if Rose Quartz didn’t shatter Pink Diamond why didn’t she tell that to the Crystal Gems?

Think about it. Why would Rose Quartz not tell anyone anyone she didn’t shatter Pink Diamond? There is no doubt in my mind that the Crystal Gems would believe her. Their trust in Rose solid. So, why didn’t she tell any of them?

Not to mention what happened to Pink Diamond’s court? More importantly where is her Pearl? I don’t Pearl from the Crystal Gems is her because she is white and all the diamonds’ pearls do match them. So Pink Diamond’s pearl should be pink. Yet, no one seem to have realize she was missing until Steven’s lawyer brought it up.

I think from a story and character view that Rose Quartz was involved in Pink Diamond shatter somehow, but how involved she was we don’t know. Maybe she and Pink Diamond were going to have some peace talks and someone shattered her to keep the war going on. Possibly someone used Rose to have her shattered Pink Diamond, and she found out. It would explain why she was against Bismuth shattering other gems. Death wouldn’t serve their purpose, she saw how Pink Diamond’s death made everything worse, and she wouldn’t wish for the gems to experience the same guilt she was feeling

That leads to the question who shattered Pink Diamond or help Rose Quartz do it? Let’s look at the top 3 suspects.

Yellow Diamond- A lot of people think she might be the culprit because of the way she was acting at the trial. Personally, I think she is too obvious a suspect. I think her reaction comes from her denial of grief, and the burden of knowing something is off about the whole incident. Think about it. Peridot said her Diamond, Yellow Diamond, was smart. She might have drawn same conclusion in the trial, but not wanting to think of her sisters capable of doing this, she rather blame Rose Quartz because she thinks it would make easier to deal. It would also explain why she wants the cluster to destroy the earth and shatter all the Rose Quartz so badly. If they are all gone she won’t have to think about the truth.
 Pearl- Pearl being the culprit would explain why Rose Quartz didn’t tell anyone why she didn’t shatter Pink Diamond. She was trying to to protect Pearl. Heck, Rose might blame herself since it’s possible Pearl shatter Pink Diamond to protect her. Blue Diamond said a sword did it, and Pearl is a sword fighter. The only problem with this theory is Steven. I can’t imagine Pearl allowing Steven’s imagine of his mother ruined because of actions she did. Not to mention that Pearl didn’t know all of Rose’s secrets. This could be one that she doesn’t know.
White Diamond-  This is the possible suspect, but only because we don’t have a clue about White Diamond. As someone who watches a lot of mystery shows, I don’t like have a suspect because of a lack of information. Still, it’s important to note that she wasn’t at the trial. Did she not care about Pink Diamond? Was she afraid of the truth being known? I hope we get to see White Diamond soon so we get some information about her.

Hey guys, I thought I give you an update. The Lotus Caretaker II is still it’s editing process, but I confidante unless something major happens it will be published this year. I’m working on the Silver Codex IV right now along with another story idea, which I will hopefully tell you more about in the future.

I will get my Top 20 favorite male characters up soon. I have been working on my book writing so much that I haven’t gotten it done yet. It will come out by June I promise.

Okay so this is not really an accurate list since I did a lot of cheating with this and even created another list just so I could add more characters. I can’t help it there are too many characters that I love. Now I did prevent myself from not putting characters I have created on this list because then the whole list would have been about them, and every entry is just one franchise though there might be two from it. I also separated each list by gender so I could cheat to get more characters. So let’s start with my favorite female characters.

Tohru Honda from Fruits Basket –  On the surface, it looks like Tohru is a Mary Sue, but you actually do see how much of a struggle it is for her to be good and how the world really doesn’t appreciate someone who really is trying to be a good person. Not mention her low self esteem issues when she can’t see her own value. Something I can relate to completely. She inspires me to try and be kind to everyone because often that is what people need the most.

 

Luna and Ginny from Harry Potter–  I mention how much I loved Ginny and Luna’s friendship, and great part of that is how much I love these characters. The weird and blunt nature of Luna is refreshing, and I can relate to Ginny in having only brothers to live with. We can’t we have a spinoff with these two going on some kind of adventure. Please J.K Rowling.

Starfire from Teen Titans– This is probably my all time favorite superhero. While I enjoyed Starfire in the cartoon series as a kid, it was the New Teen Titans comics by Marv Wolfman and George Prez that made me love her. She is actually one of the few girly characters I have come across that also has super strength. As someone who consider herself girly, but was often thought of as a tomboy I can appreciate Starfire’s powers and journey.

 

Death from Sandman– Death from Sandman is really a walking moment of awesome and heartwarming. She is like that cool big sister everyone always wanted. For someone who is feared by humanity, she really doesn’t hold a grudge against us for that. She is polite and kind when collecting souls to where ever they go, but still willing to call people out on their bullshit.

 

Madoka and Homura from Puella Magi Madoka Magica– These are two magical girls I can really relate to. Madoka with her feelings of not being special and wanting to help her friends and Homura feeling so much gratitude for her friend that she is willing to go to any lengths to save her, no matter what. I love their characters’ journey, and I’m really glad a third movie didn’t come along and ruin it.

Shut up.

Mabel Pines from Gravity Falls– Here is a character that is a perfect match for me when I was a preteen. In many ways, the only difference between me and Mabel is that I’m little more morbid wrapped in cute, and she is way more talented at being artistic. I don’t care what people say, Mabel is the best character ever on Gravity Falls. After all she does have a grappling hook.

Jessica Fleatcher from Murder, She Wrote– Here is a character I hope to be when I’m an old lady. Jessica Fleatcher who is writing best selling books, traveling the world, and solving mysteries! She is also very kind and helpful to anyone who desperately needs it. If I can’t be Wonder Woman then I’m going to be her.

Yuko Ichihara from xxxHolic– When it comes to favorite mentors, Yuko is mine. I can’t exactly say why. I think part of it is her confidence. She knows so much and has the powers to take anyone down. The only thing holding her back is the rules of universe that require balance. To me she is the perfect balance of wisdom and funny.  Not to mention she has the best outfits ever! If I could have her wardrobe I would take it in a second.

Sailor Moon from Sailor Moon–  It’s amazing how watching uncut anime will change your mind about how you feel about a character. When I watched the anime in 90s I never thought of Sailor Moon as one of my favorite character. Now growing and see her in multiple stories I realize just how much depth and power she has, but she how much like me she is especially the crybaby part. I wish I could defeat evil with sparkles just like her.

Daja and Sandry from The Circle of Magic–  I can’t decide which of these two are my favorites so I’m picking both of them. It’s kind of odd because they are very different characters. Daja is outcast from the Traders who can use magic by blacksmithing items who treasure her culture despite the fact they think of her as a jinx. Sandry is a noble lady whose power comes from thread and needle work, and gives badass speeches to snobs. The one thing these girls do have in common is kicking ass with magic.

Amelia from Slayers– If you need funny heroic speeches then look no further then Princess Amelia. Who could hate this girl? Once they gave her the right English voice actor. She is funny, joyful, and is always thinking of her kingdom. Sure, her views on evil and good are very cliche and often are wrong, but she quickly learns and willing do anything for justice.

Ms. Marvel from Ms. Marvel comics– This isn’t just a kickass character because of her powers and how she inspires others, but also the fact that she is a fanfic writer of avengers and ponies stories. That automatically makes Kamala an amazing character. They should just have a comic series based entirely around Kamala’s fanfiction.

Amethyst from Steven Universe– You all knew that someone from Steven Universe was going to be on this list. Amethyst already gets top billing because she is one of the few character that similar to my figure. The only difference being that I’m somewhat taller then Amethyst. It’s not just her looks though. It her desire to have fun while also dealing with self esteem issues that makes her a package of awesome.

Aly of Pirate’s Swoop from Trickster’s Series– Aly isn’t just unique for being a magical spy, it’s kind of surprising there are not more magical spy stories, but just how compassionate and loving she is. Even as the rebellion makes hard decisions so they can save the Copper Isles, Aly always hope they can take the path that will not kill people and unite everyone. Plus she is probably the funniest out of all of Tamora Pierce’s characters.

La Sangre from DC comics– Here is a character that deserves her own spinoff series. La Sangre the Catholic virgin vampire who is not afraid to suck criminals dry of their blood. Plus the town she protects actually loves her back. That is something of a rarity in comics books these days. DC comics make this series happen.

Kari and Gatomon from Digimon– My favorite Digimon team out of all series. In this case, it might be the potential of Kari’s character. I think Digimon Adventure 02 wasted the opportunity of exploring the pressures of someone who wants to live up being good and kind. I’m  holding on hope they will explore it when Kari gets her mega evolution for gatomon in Digimon Tri. Gatomon is actually one of the unique digimon to start out evil and becoming one of the good guys. Most of the time it the digidestined kid that is the evil one. Making them a great pair to watch.

Pinkie Pie from My Little Pony Friendship is Magic–  What can I say about Pinkie Pie? She beaks the fourth wall, she has best element of laughter, she throws the best parties, and a she is friends with Deadpool. Yes, I consider Death Battle to be canon between the two of them. She is just Pinkie Pie, best pony of all time.

Ace from Doctor Who– And the greatest Doctor Who compaion goes too…Ace for not only smashing Daleks with baseball bats, blowing them up with rocket launchers, and creating her own type of explosions, but for also having one of the greatest leather jackets in TV show history! Seriously, I want this jacket.

Sammy Keyes from the Sammy Keyes series– Some of the great questions in this universe are what is the meaning of life, how was the world created, is free will a thing, and of course of the greatest of them all is WHY HAS NO ONE MADE A SAMMY KEYES TV OR MOVIE SERIES? This has to be one of the best mystery series for kids and it all has do with Sammy Keyes. She not only smart and spunky, but she is really flawed. This series has a lot PSA like moments, but what makes them work is that Sammy often sees them as corny or even lame at first similar to how the reader might be feeling. So when she learns a lesson it really hits home. She can get herself out of any trouble and will always try to do the right thing.

 

Dorothy Gale from Wizard of Oz– I love the Wizard of Oz. Both the movie and book. I love Dorothy in both. I get her desire to leave Kansas to explore new worlds as well as well as her desire to want to return to her family at the same time. There also something very simple and yet powerful about her character. It kind of hard to write about. You just have to read the book or watch the movie. Really you should be doing both.

For Hey, guys. My birthday is coming up and all I want for it, besides World Peace and being able to go on a horror theme road trip, is to get reviews for my books on Amazon and Goodreads. To make this easier I will be making all of my novels and my novella free on kindle starting on the 4th and ending on 6th of March. So the latest Steven Universe bomb happened and I have decided we need to talk about possibility of Rose Quartz being Pink Diamond again. To be honest, I’m torn. On the one hand there is growing amount of evidence that Rose Quartz isn’t Pink Diamond, and from a story perspective if she isn’t, that leads to some interesting ideas.

I think it’s safe to say that the end game of Steven Universe is for home world to change thanks to Steven and there be peace between them and the Crystal Gems. If Rose Quartz did indeed shatter Pink Diamond that would make it more difficult and more interesting to see how Steven can bring this about.  There is even some suggestions why Rose Quartz maybe a little more special then other Rose Quartzs, if you look at Peridot. Thanks to the freedom of earth, Peridot discovers she can control metal. It’s possible some of the powers that I thought were associated with a Diamond just came about because Rose Quartz was free to discover herself.

But I’m not ready to give up on Rose Quartz being Pink Diamond just yet. For one thing, I would like to be write about a cartoon theory, but also there is strange evidence that she might be a Diamond even after we learn she supposedly shatter one.

In the episode Three Gems and A Baby, we learn about the first time Steven’s gem glows and the Crystal Gems reactive to it. What is interesting here is the framing, and how the creators chose to show it.

I can’t believe this is a coincidence since we had seen them subtlety hinting there was a Pink Diamond with all the background details about her before anyone even out right said anything about her. This could easily be foreshadow what Steven’s gemstone really is or more important what it’s going to be.

Hold that thought.

There is also the fact that Steven has a strange empathy power he shares with Blue Diamond. It’s possible that the Diamonds share this power with each other to know if one is upset of endanger, and could even explain how Yellow Diamond knew that Blue Diamond was at the station. Steven probably can’t feel Yellow Diamond’s feelings because being a very emotional person he can relate better to Blue Diamond’s grief. Not to mention that his powers are still developing, and Yellow Diamond seem determine not to feel her own grief.

There is also the issue of Bismuth. She wanted to create a weapon that could shatter the Diamonds and free all of Home World. Rose Quartz was very firm against the idea. I think it might be possible she didn’t want to shatter her own sisters. She just wanted to save the earth.

Another thing that is brought up is Rose Quartz keeping secrets. It clear that Rose Quartz did have a few plans for Steven. The obvious from Lion and all the things he takes Steven too. Is possible that Steven could be part of a long term plan of Rose Quartz?

There is also the biggest question of all: How did Rose Quartz shatter Pink Diamond? Bismuth tells us that her sword couldn’t cut through a gemstone, only the body. In fact, did Rose Quartz even have her sword when she shatter Pink Diamond? The weapon she can form is a shield. Maybe she threw her shield to shatter Pink Diamond, but that seems highly unlikely.

However, the biggest thing is Rose Quartz’s studies of change. She seems somewhat envies of the change that humans can go through to be better, and how the earth is always changing itself. That could mean she wasn’t happy at her station with Pink Diamond, but it’s hard to tell since we don’t exactly Rose Quartz purpose was on Home World. Maybe she wasn’t happy being Pink Diamond?

So here is a new idea what if Rose Quartz was Pink Diamond, but she became corrupted somehow. Her healing powers saved her from being totally corrupted, but in the process she changes into a Rose Quartz. Someone comes upon and think she has shatter herself, and she is sent on the run.

I can buy Pink Diamond turning Rose Quartz and no one realizing it. No one on Home World can seem to tell gems apart. Despite Blue Diamond ordering Ruby to be shatter for fusing with Sapphire she doesn’t recognize either of them when they are on a rescue mission to get Greg back. Yellow Diamond actually had to ask Peridot which one she was before realize she was on earth.

Maybe Rose Quartz can’t change back into Pink Diamond, but she is know free just how some gems are miserable being in Home World’s caste system, and the destruction power they are doing to the earth. She decides Home World must leave, but since her sisters won’t listen to her thinking she is just a plain Rose Quartz, she decides to force the issue with a war.

This could also explain why she never told the Crystal Gems. They might have very well accepted her story, but it was important for their own development not be influenced by a Diamond. How would the Crystal Gems feel knowing they had been following a Diamond all this time. They might question if they were really trying to be free to be themselves or were they just follow another Diamond’s wishes. Given devotion the Home World gems give to their diamonds this would be something that needed to come up.

Rose Quartz clearly needed to lead in the war and finding corrupted gems, but it’s clear that she didn’t want to lead like a Diamond. Maybe she starts being happier being a Rose Quartz. It’s possible that she knew Home world would come back someday, and I think she wanted to find a way to show them that gems can change, and that was okay.

Enter Steven. I think if my theory is right and Rose Quartz was Pink Diamond, but something happened to change her then it’s possible that Steven being half human could can back into a Diamond because humans naturally change. That could be one of the ways to unite the two worlds, and the Diamonds to realize she was right. That is not going to be easy for Yellow or Blue since they are still in state of grief, though they are dealing with it different ways. If they learn they had been fighting their sister all this time, it might devastated them. Who knows how White Diamond might react.

I think it’s safe to say there is more to the story of Rose Quartz and Pink Diamond even if they’re not the same person. I don’t think it’s a simple as the Home World version or even the Crystal Gem version. We might get some answers about it in two weeks in the episode Storm in the Room. Though I doubt all the questions fan have will be answered in that one episode. What do you think? This is my 100th blog post!

So yeah, all those were good things. Still this year has sucked over all, and I’m hoping that 2017 will somehow purify all this crap so we can have one of the best years ever! That is my hope. Here are some things that you can be looking forward to on this blog!

The Lotus Caretaker II- This will be the next book I publish, it’s just taking a long time to write it. Much longer then I original planned, but it will be written and it will be published sometime in 2017.
The Silver Codex IV- This is going to be the next book after The Lotus Caretaker II to come out. Slight Spoilish warning, something is going to happened that changes the entire universe. (Yes, all my books take place in the same universe.) So it only makes the most sense for this book to be next after The Lotus Caretaker II. If things go better for me in 2017, I might try to run a contest to have you all guess what edition this one will be, but that is a huge maybe.
The Blue Codex II: This is another huge maybe since I don’t know if I will be able to publish three books in one year, but I will definitely will get started on writing it in 2017. At the very least, don’t expect this book until November or December if it happens at all.
More vlogs- I will try to go to more interesting places and do more fun stuff so my vlogs aren’t boring. I will be getting a puppy in January so you will see her in my vlogs.
Blog posts- This one I’m going to need you help with. What kind of posts do you want to see more of on this blog. My thoughts about pop culture in general? More lists? Posts like the Eventide Speaker PSA? Let me know in the comments below, and I will do more of those kinds of posts. Hopefully, 2017 will give me more time to blog and vlog.

That is the general plan for 2017. I’m determine this blog and my books are going to positive and a welcoming place for everybody because if this year has taught me anything is that there not enough of that in the real world.
