What to do with more light

Current image: person holding brown leaf

It comes back that day a second at a time; then two.

Been gone for months shrinking like a heart leaking joy,

A second at a time; then two.

Stops, gathers, returns; then runs back to darkness

A second at a time; then two.

What to do the day there is more light?

It’s what you do the day there is less.

What matters only.

Love.
