It is not long before Gervaise realizes he has made a severe miscalculation where Caroline is concerned. Has he left it too late, or can he convince her of the sincerity of his feelings before the secrets which would threaten Caroline’s life emerge and engulf her in terrible danger?

This is the 2nd book in the Victorian 'Reversal of Fortune' series and is a full length novel of over 130,000 words. Though you will have met certain characters in previous books it can be read as a stand alone.

Just to let you know that the third Victorian Prizefighter book "A Contracted Spouse for the Prizefighter" is available/ or is in the process of becoming available shortly on Amazon for purchase.

I can see it currently on .com and .uk but I know that sometimes it can be glitchy at first and not show up worldwide.
