The Strategist by Cynthia A. Montgomery
What’s been forgotten is that strategy is not a destination or a solution. It’s not a problem to be solved and settled. It’s a journey. It needs continuous, not intermittent, leadership.

“life isn’t about what you don’t have. It’s about what you do with what you have.”

“Be good at many things, great at a few things. Master something.”

“The best revenge is massive success.”
Frank Sinatra

“Startups – as well as enterprises – building platforms, often make the error of engineering viral growth before designing the right incentives for users to stay on in an engaged fashion.”
Sangeet Paul Choudary, Platform Scale: How an emerging business model helps startups build large empires with minimum investment

“A successful startup takes a very long time—certainly much longer than most founders think at the outset. You cannot treat it as an all-nighter. You have to eat well, sleep well, and exercise. Sam Altman, Startup Playbook
