Ed Scarpo is the pseudonym of a New York-based journalist who graduated from Hofstra in 1989 with a BA in Print Communications. Professionally, he's covered everything from finance to entertainment (and has interviewed a variety of film stars). For the past few years he's also been blogging about the Mafia on his Cosa Nostra News blog. Scarpo has interviewed and written about many former gangsters, as well as the occasional lawman, and even an author or two. We've been on the Amazon Kindle best seller list, mostly between number 3 and 10, since we launched in November. We are working on volume two. I'm also writing an ebook with Frank Gangi. It'll be longer and offer a pretty comprehensive account of Frank's life and crimes, including the three years he spent with Thomas "Tommy Karate" Pitera. Also we'll cover the one day he spent in the company of "acclaimed" author Philip Carlo. I may have another ebook partner in the works. This will be huge news but I can't reveal anything yet, it's far to early. I will scream about it from the rooftops, though, whenever I can!! Please, any other questions, please ask.
