Hal’s fascination with the supernatural began at an early age and blossomed to an obsession as the years passed. When not traversing the globe chasing after the latest ghost story or unexplained phenomena, he can be found holed up in his Cape Cod along the shores of Lake Erie. He laughs off whispered rumors that the character, Silas Shivers, is loosely based upon his experiences. Hal’s usual company consists of a never empty glass of bourbon, a burning Davidoff Nicaragua Toro, and demons, which run amok through the battleground of his mind.
