Angela Kendrick, author of Tokyo Yakuza #4: Half a Man, has only ever lived in Texas because home is where the “stars at night are big and bright.” She earned a BA in History and went on to complete an MBA. Presently, she is a full time Human Resources professional. She spends her time reading, writing, and loving her pets and marvelously supportive family and friends. Her favorite stories on paper or screens of all sizes are sci-fi/fantasy, especially the dystopian variety, and she’s a sucker for a love story.

“People hate truisms.”
Angela Kendrick

“You don't love someone because they're perfect, you love them in spite of the fact that they're not.”
Jodi Picoult, My Sister's Keeper

“The first thing you learn in life is you're a fool. The last thing you learn in life is you're the same fool.”
Ray Bradbury, Dandelion Wine

“We've got to live, no matter how many skies have fallen.”
D.H. Lawrence, Lady Chatterley's Lover

“I hate when a director says to me 'Here's how I envision this scene'...excuse me? It's right here in the script - I 'envisioned' it FOR you. Do what I wrote. If you want to 'envision', you should become a writer. Where the fuck were you when the page was blank?”
Harlan Ellison

“You must be shapeless, formless, like water. When you pour water in a cup, it becomes the cup. When you pour water in a bottle, it becomes the bottle. When you pour water in a teapot, it becomes the teapot. Water can drip and it can crash. Become like water my friend.”
Bruce Lee
