Kelsey is always on the fence about love and frankly, I love it because she is beautiful and she is really too young to settle down. WHO WOULD WANT TO? She has, not one, but two PRINCE's who like her and one is destined to be KING! The other has a fate like no other and unlimited access to the world.
Then there is Michael who hangs in Kelsey's balance. I swear I wish she would just give him up AT LONG LAST! But then again, maybe he is the right one for her. He comes along with baggage, but so does Kelsey. He's not Royalty, but he's a doctor! His major fail is his wife, and Kelsey's BEST FRIEND, Tracy... Man, with her as a friend you don't need enemies, but she could turn out to be Kelsey's biggest ally? (What are you thinking?)

If you think I don't know where this book is going, I want to let you know that I know exactly how it all ends and it is my theory in life*** The big bang theory-If you're not all in, why are you playing the game? Risk it all and if you lose, you gave everything to win.

Ready for Book 5!
I know, I know... I hate cliffhangers more than anyone. Just tell me already! Well, I am working feverishly to finish book 5. I thought that Book 4 would give me a litle breathing room to finish up book 5, but I am very happy that it is addictive and drawing you in...
Yes, book 1 sets up the story and is long and drawn out, but it had to be.
Book 2 gives more insight and then Book 3 was supposed to be conflict and drama (not unlike the others, but it was intended to stir the pot.) Book 4 I wanted to be a great release of all this pent up emotions... giving you answers that I guess aren't so apparent yet, but they will be coming more to the forefront.
Stay tuned for book 5 The Aftermath... It picks up where book 4 left off and to let you see how it begins, here is a little taste!

Chapter 1 – Still Drunk in Love
“Lights on, lights on!” I yell, in a tizzy.
I may not be able to break free of these chains that bind me, but I am not going to do this in the dark. It is too terrifying with the lights out.
Stephen is on his knees sitting in between my legs with me trussed up to his bed, my arms stretched taut in chains and my legs spread eagle before him. He is giving me a disappointed glare, and I really don’t care.
“Lights out,” he calls out in defiance, to what I want.
The lights go out.
“Lights on,” I command, again.
We go back and forth with the lights, until Stephen grabs my leg and squeezes tightly, getting my attention.
“Let me do this, or I shall have to gag you.”
“Nope,” I say with a fervent shake of my head. “You said pleasure, and I don’t take pleasure in being gagged.”
“Then allow me to continue with the- lights off!” Stephen commands rather tersely, once again making the lights go out.
“Lights on,” I respond.
“Stop,” Stephen says calmly with his eyes pointed at me with the precise meaning of the word ‘stop’ in them, but also a sweet plea to me.
I stare at him. At this moment, he doesn’t appear to be scary, but with the lights out I am afraid.
“What are you going to do?”
“You won’t want to watch.” He says unpromisingly.

Gator Girl: THE AFTERMATH - Book 5Kari NelsonThis has been a loving adventure for me that is unfortunately/fortunately coming to a close.
I appreciate everyone's feedback- good and bad. There are some heated emotions, especially with Book 5. I want you all to know I tried and agonized over removing a lot of things from Book 5. I wanted to re-write this story a billion times and not allow the difficult things to happen, but I just had to do what was true. In the end I chose to write what I set out to do originally with the characters, no matter how hard it is to take. I hope that you all understand why in the end. (That's my goal)
I got over a major hump in Book 5. Betrayal, and constant betrayal at that is hard to take and I am amazed and thrilled that so many of you felt the betrayal so whole-heartedly as if it was your own.
That you can feel my words so intensely speaks more to me than anything. The venting helped me to get over it. When I posted I'm moving on to book 6, it was because Book 5 took a lot away from me. I was a bit devastated. I wanted to write more and not stop. I finally decided that I need to let the bleeding happen so healing could take place.
SO... BOOK 6! Man, KELSEY what will she do? I tell you what, she can take a lot, but when she has had enough, get out of her way because she is going to explode.
The girl has gone through too much. Now she has been shot. It seems contrived and thrown together. She gets shot and now she is living with Stephen, so now she just has to forgive him... wait for it! I am anything but cliché. I think of what I would do in this situation and I write the opposite, because I would have totally fallen for Stephen at hello and the story would have ended. LOL!
What I will tell you is Chase returns and he isn't afraid of the big bad wolf (Stephen- in case that isn't clear.) I love that Chase was unaffected by Stephen's sudden presence when he first met him in Book 5 and that he isn't impressed about who he is. (I was cheering, probably on my own.)
Chase is able to break Kelsey away from Stephen where Landon's loyalty to Stephen has stopped him from doing it.
These two boys (Chase and Stephen) won't be playing nice at all in 6! SO! How does it all end?? YOU ARE GOING TO HAVE TO READ IT (Oh, yeah, I know you're going to say RELEASE IT!!!)
I am such a 'Drama Mama' that this series is killing me to end it.
Right now - KEY WORD right now Book 6 has a happy ending and you could very well stop reading right here, but BOOK 7
OMIGOSH!!! If you don't read book 7, well, I won't be mad, but you will miss out on getting to know it all. I am a bit of mad scientist... everything you heard/learned comes together to this ultimate goal. Kelsey's whishy washy memory, her mother's death, her father, her brothers, Nicollet, Tracy, Michael, Chase, Susan, Landon, Jacqueline and the reason why we read this CRAZY insane book HRH Prince Stephen Lyons. I want you all to know his ultimate fate. Oh yeah, I'm excited! ARE YOU???
P.S. Cancer has touched so many of our lives and I wanted a story of hope in a dire circumstance with a romance that is a bit tragic and emotionally heartfelt. It is a book of fiction, but I truly hope that one day there will be a cure to this horrible disease. Until there is a cure, there is hope. Okay, I'm done here. BACK TO writing!

Free Gator Girl Book 6
Gator Girl: The Reason - Book 6 is free today 4/7/2015. I hope that with it being free that I can get more reviews, but more than that... I really hope that you enjoy the book because the series is coming to an end.
Book 7 is the FINALE (THERE WILL NOT BE ANY MORE GATOR GIRL BOOKS WITH KELSEY AND STEPHEN.) It is in the works and I don't have a release date. I am going to do my best to make sure what happened with 6 doesn't happen again so I will let you know how it is going.
I have really enjoyed writing this series. Saying goodbye to HRH Stephen Lyons is really hard. (AND, NO HE DOES NOT DIE!) I am morbid and write all kinds of cray-cray but if I killed off Stephen, well that would break my heart and it would live in my head forever as the biggest mistake I ever made. I love him totally, flaws and all... To me he has fought too long to live and to love that he deserves life and it's my book.
That being said, he's not done screwing up... He's only changed his game. See who has ultimately been in control all along. Learn the fate of all these a$$hole's you hate. Learn the fate of Kelsey and Stephen...Can they keep it together or does them being together just make things fall apart.
