Cletus R. Willems was born and raised in the heartland of the United States in the early post-World War Two era—a time when most Americans trusted in the goodwill and competence of its institutions. He writes of the loss of that feeling, and of the disillusioned men and women forced to confront injustice wrought by powerful and well-disguised elitists. His books arise from experiences gained in four continents while working as a wharf rat, a tool and die maker, and an attorney, and arising from his military service during the Vietnam Conflict. A graduate of the University of Notre Dame, and the University of Wisconsin Law School, Clete is married, has 3 children, and lives and writes from Bonita Springs, Florida. The Angel of Amar

This is a wonderful time for me. I'm working on the final edit of the sequel to Worthy of the Stars and am so pleased by the path taken by my characters.
