Ann C. Barham is a Marriage & Family Therapist licensed in the State of California, and a Certified Past Life Therapist with the International Board of Regression Therapy. After earning her Masters in Counseling Psychology at Santa Clara University, she pursued a traditional counseling practice for some years before turning her focus to past life regression work. Barham studied with some of the world’s preeminent past life practitioners of the time, including Dr. Brian Weiss and Dr. Roger Woolger, among others. As she developed her own, integrated approach, she found that she could help many people resolve enduring issues, often in a single session, as well as incorporate significant spiritual exploration for clients. For me, that's often playing tennis or - believe it or not - paying bills (I tend to find that relaxing; weird, huh?) Before I start my writing I often take a few moments for meditation to clear my mind, and turn the process over to spirit, asking it to flow through me in the writing. If I find I just can't get anywhere writing on any particular day, then I let it go. But I'm rarely blocked when I use this process. (less)

Writing is a way for me to have a one on one connection to my reader, while at the same time reaching a large number of people. It also is such a flexible endeavor - I can write around my client schedule, I can write if I can't sleep in the middle of the night, I can write instead of making dinner! It's all good.(less)

OprahMag.com Editor Discovers her Writing Roots

I was invited to work with an editor from Oprah's online magazine earlier this year. This young woman was feeling challenged with her recent move from small town Georgia to life in New York City. She also wanted to build her confidence in her abilities as a writer. I enjoyed a lovely weekend in New York visiting family, and conducting an in-person session for her at the beautiful Hearst Tower, the

“George sees important reflections of the monk’s experience in his current life as he continues to seek answers about spirituality: “I still struggle but don’t ask for God’s help. I question if he’s really there for me.” At the end of the session, George’s higher guidance chimes in with calming reassurance: “Sometimes the life experiences don’t make sense from where we stand. Have compassion for the situation; human life is not perfect. You tried your best. Trust in God, not in a church. Jesus loves you, he’s real, he’s God. Trust in God. Just let go of the pain of the past. Forgive yourself; forgive those who were a part of it; forgive God for the disappointment. Let go of trying to figure it out.”
