Scary Christmas Anthology: Merry Creepmas: the Red Book

This was published back in February, but I have a Krampus story, "Holiday Sacrifice," included in this seasonal Christmas horror anthology. Available in paperback and eBook, you can find only this at Lulu.com. Merry Creepsmas: The Red Book

Wicked Shadow Press invites you to discover why some presents should remain unwrapped. In this chilling collection, seasoned storytellers and rising stars of horror unwrap the darker side of the holiday season, revealing the wicked shadows that lurk behind twinkling lights and cheerful carols.

From blood-soaked snow to ancient yuletide terrors, MERRY CREEPSMAS takes readers on a journey inspired by centuries of dark Christmas folklore. Krampus, the Yule Cat, and twisted versions of beloved holiday figures emerge from the shadows, while contemporary tales of yuletide horror transform familiar festive settings into landscapes of fear. These aren't the holiday stories you grew up with—they're the ones your parents were afraid to tell you.

Featuring an international roster of seasoned and acclaimed horror authors alongside tomorrow's masters of terror, MERRY CREEPSMAS is your ticket to a horrific holiday season, no matter which month of the year you're in!

MERRY CREEPSMAS comes in two volumes: The Red Book and The Green Book. Available in illustrated paperbacks and minimal ePubs.

Authors featured in THE RED BOOK:
Andrew Kurtz, BW Bloodlust, C S Dixon, Chad Anctil, Cliff Hansen, Daniel DiQuinzio, Dawn DeBraal, Jacek Wilkos, Jeni Lawes, Jenny Hart, Julia Raffel, Linda M. Crate, Lynne Phillips, Neil Brosnan, Nicholas Diak, Pamela K. Kinney, Rachel Bellard, Ray Prew, Ricardo D. Rebelo, S.M. Summers, Soter Lucio, Stephen Lang, Steve Wade AND Tonny Kyule.

New Release: Nowhere Land

My horror novel, Nowhere Land released last Tuesday, 'October 7th. You can find it at Amazon, Barnes and Noble (even order at their bookstores), Books a Million, and Bookshop.org. Available in paperback and eBook (Kindle, Kobo.com, ePub at Barnes and Noble.com, and Apple Books.).
If Haunting of Hill House had a baby with Stranger Things, Nowhere Land would be the result.

For centuries, legends have been told of a haunted land not far from Gloucester, Virginia. The local tribes had labelled it a place of demons. Wildlife is hardly seen there, and even insects avoid it. Sound fluctuates; nothing above a whisper one moment, only to come back minutes later. Those who dare to cross the land never make it out, mysteriously vanishing.

Parker Burkett and his sister, Lisa Polivka, inherit the land from their grandfather. They bring in a group of investigators to find if the stories behind the property are true. Parker has plans to turn it into a historical attraction and wants to debunk the ghost tales. He finds the paranormal group gone the next morning, except for a finger still wearing a ring lying in the loft of one of the buildings. It is the only evidence they'd been there.

Ben Neilson, who leads the paranormal team, Seekers of Paranormal World, wants to investigate, but first he must convince Parker to let them. He also wants longtime friend and psychic medium Neri Phelan to help his team.

Neri left the group a couple of years ago after the death of her younger sister on an investigation. She has a past with the cursed land, and she doesn't want anything to do with it. Nightmares and an attack from something dark that destroys her spirit guide help her decide that it's time to break the curse.

Will they solve the truth behind the legends? Or will Neri and Parker, along with Ben and his team, join the countless others over the centuries and become sacrifices to Nowhere Land.

Preorder: How the Vortex Changed My Life-Urban Fantasy

What was my only self-published novel was accepted by Dreampunk Press, the bookstore inside the book edited to its new name as owned by someone else (yes, the indie bookstore and other businesses mention in here are real places in Richmond.), Shelf Life, and a couple of small edits. How the Vortex Changed my Life releases September 30th, and you can find it everywhere for preorder, or preorder it from your local brick and mortar bookstore.
Cat Viggolone just can't get a break. She'd gotten married, but that ended when the husband left her for his younger secretary. She wanted children. That flew out the window with the cheating husband. There's the career, but working a window at the Virginia DMV can't really be classified as a great career choice. At thirty-three, her life had become positively dull.

Then the vortex opened.

Sucked into a corridor just outside of hell, she meets Connor, a werewolf, and Larry, a demon that looks like a blue-eyed eyeball. They escape back to earth, only to find that the vortex has opened up in downtown Richmond. The town is going to hell, literally. Besides a grayness seeping out and turning all living things into zombies, monsters and demons are invading Cat's world.

Will Cat and her new friends (including an angel named George) be able to stop the vortex before it claims the entire planet?

Cat's life is definitely no longer humdrum and ordinary.

Coming Soon--Nowhere Land

I sent back on edits for Nowhere Land, my horror novel, which releases October 7th, back to my editor. Now the wait for it to be available for preorder. Same goes for the return of my urban fantasy novel, How the Vortex Changed My Life, as it has not been available since end of May as it will be released in October by Dreampunk Press, too. There is change of name of a bookstore (real one in Carytown) and couple small edits, from my self-published version.
