Questions for the Authors out there:

I have been working (on again off again) on Forsaken, the Sequel to my novel Glory for a couple of years now. I find it hard to write a sequel, it has to be different enough to hold the reader's interest, but not so much that it loses the appeal of the first book.

Glory is hands down, my favorite book that I have written. I know that there are not a lot of readers who will take a chance on a book with a Christian tag. It's okay. I did it. It's my crowning achievement, nothing else matters, but I am still heavily invested in the sequel.

So, here are my questions:
Have you started a new habit in your real life based on a character in one of your books? Has a plight of one of your characters become something that affects you in reality?

I started drinking Coffee when I wrote Glory. (Oddly enough, I had a quip in The Wishing Place about Coffee being addictive well before I started actually drinking coffee.) It's become such a part of my life that My Hubby got me a Keurig machine for Christmas.

Now I am deep into Forsaken. The MC is always cold. I live in Texas. It's not cold here. I am always cold.

Clearly writing alters my brain.
Perhaps I am too invested in this series.
