I'm excited to announce that two months after the publication of my debut novel, A Girl's Guide to Landing a Greek God, my second novel will be coming out. It's called The Forever Year, and it's a tale that's very close to my heart. It's based on the true story of George Gipp, the legendary, devil-may-care college football player of the 1920s, and the romance that tamed him, if only too late. While I was a student at Notre Dame, I became familiar with the football side of Gipp's story, including the expression "Win One for The Gipper." But until recently, I had no idea there was so much more to George's story. So I decided I had to write about it. The novel combines romance, football, humor and tragedy. I hope you'll enjoying reading it as much as I enjoyed researching and writing it.
