BOTB2

4/4 - So it's been a while. I've been busy trying to sync up the different chapters of each story arc with my timeline to create one fluid master chapter list. Wow. Much harder than i thought it would be, and quite revealing.

I realized quickly where i can add new chapters (mostly filler, but good to expand on the story and/or character involved), and in some cases, why i needed to add them.

I'm currently up to 89 total chapters. Interestingly enough, Book 1 had only 67 chapters, yet it had 284 pages (of story), and this book currently has 247 pages. Fighting to resist my OCD that wants to make them match has been a battle, let me tell you. Letting go is easier said than done.

So it looks like I have some more writing to do, but that's always a good thing, except for those waiting patiently to peer edit. Yeah, sorry - wanna make this as good as possible.

Oh, and i haven't yet written the prologue and epilogue, but I have a pretty good idea of what they'll be.

I'm proud of this book. It's definitely better than the first for several reasons, but I suppose that's to be expected. If you liked volume 1, you'll love this one. And if you didn't, well, you'll still like this one more.

Of course, now i'm seriously considering a re-write of the first. The big hang-ups are the time and the money for a re-release. Ugh.
