New book
Alexa and I finished our new book today. Now we start editing before subbing it to Loose Id. We discovered one of the MCs had no last name today too. Heh. Now he does!
It's a different one for us; first time writing a futuristic setting on a new planet (as a team anyway) and first time with non-con elements to the BDSM. Pretty dark in places but it was interesting to go there and there's definitely a happy ending; we might have villains, but we always have a hero too.
The title is O/s.
For one hero we pictured Idris Elba and the bad guy is Richard Armitage (sorry, Richard!)

O/s stands for Owner/sub. Maybe the publisher will say to change it but we kind of liked the starkness of it.

I would never want anyone to read something that squicked them so I'd totally understand if you passed, but it's a huge compliment that you'd give it a go so thank you! We pushed ourselves here though maybe some will say we didn't go far enough, lol. We went where the story took us and that's always going to be a HEA.

Yeah, we went with that instead of Dom because it felt right given the premise is that when the owner goes away for a bit (business trip, etc) a subsitter is hired to take care of the sub, with all that entails ;-)
Not a clue on the publication date. We contacted our editor at Loose Id and she liked the sound of it so fingers crossed it gets accepted. We're about to do our runthrough to tidy it before we sub, then it's usually a case of when it can get slotted into the schedule; four months away maybe more?
