Spring Break Week is Giveaway Week!
Hello all,
Having recently completed my Internal Medicine rotation, I have one glorious week off from school until I start Surgery next week! Graduate school doesn't leave me with a lot of time to read, so I plan to take full advantage of the opportunity.
Some of the books on my reading list for this week:
1) The Immortals by Jordanna Max Brodsky: Premise--What if the Greek gods still lived among us? I've been looking forward to this one for quite some time.
2) Sleeping Giants by Sylvain Neuvel. Pierce Brown, author of the Red Rising series (one of my all-time favorite authors) recommended this book on his Facebook page, and it looks awesome.
3) Fellside by M.R. Carey, who also wrote The Girl With All the Gifts, which I really enjoyed.
4) Hex by Thomas Olde Heuvelt--This acclaimed Dutch horror novel was just translated into English, and it sounds terrifying (and awesome).
Hopefully I'll be able to make it through at least two of these before break ends. The Immortals is already waiting on my bookshelf. And of course, I just may do some writing.
But why should I have all the fun? To celebrate spring break, I'll be giving away 5 signed copies of my new novella, The Chrononaut!
