Just Listen is a close contender to The Truth About Forever being my favorite Young Adult novel. I’m a huge fan of Sarah Dessen, and I read all of her novels. Like if I could read book from one author, I would pick Sarah Dessen. Or make that two. I need Sophie Kinsella’s humor in my life.

So back to the book, when it comes to Sarah Dessen’s novels, my top picks are (this is kind of hard to do because I love all of her works):

The Truth About Forever
(closely followed by) Just Listen
Along for the Ride
all her other books

I would really recommend her books to teenage readers out there. Try once and maybe, like me, you’ll fall in love with the way she writes her words.
