Folks -

This is going to be a bit of a blunt letter. I don't want to seem greedy, not in the least, but I need your help. Very much!

Here is the bottom line with sites like this - they are great. Lots of fun, and people get to see your name

BUT

it is a whole lot easier to "make friends" than to actually get people to commit to buying your book.

As an artist - all artists actually - need support from a solid fan base in order to make a living doing what they love to do and providing your with material you love to read. I have never had these huge monumental aspirations to be a multi-millionaire (not that I would say no...) but to be able to make a humble living (say the same as my teacher's salary) it is going to take about 12,000 - 15,000 people buying my books.

How is this possible for a totally unknown new guy???

It is all about WORD OF MOUTH, YOU, TALKING TO FOLKS, MENTIONING MY BOOK, BRINGING FRIENDS TO EVENTS.

So....

I am doing a hugely important book signing at Changing Hands Book Store in Tempe, AZ on June 19th (Friday) at 7:00 PM. I need this signing to be a success. I need folks to show up. I need folks to buy books.
