If Questions

My 9-year-old loves to ask would you rather and if questions, and I love answering them. This morning she asked a really good one: If you could have a superpower what would it be and why?

I'd love to fly!

How about you?

Lacy I would love to be able to turn invisible so that I could spy on my enemies! If I have superpowers I have enemies right?! I'm just saying...Reading or hearing minds would be cool to!

Susan Good ones Lacy!

I think of Sookie Stackhouse when I think of mind reading, and how much she hated it. Edward Cullen didn't seem to have a problem with it, though....

I think I'd demand a trial period first!

I think it's a nifty power to posess!"

Halleluiah! Not two minutes ago, I just had the ol' "do you think a fairy cleans the house" discussion with my 12-year-old! Sad to say, I think the answer was yes....

Can you imagine how cool it would be to have your fridge and pantry automatically stalked? The laundry cleaned, folded, and put away... THEN... I'd like to go for a little fly about....

Susan UPDATE!!!!

my daughter: "That's why we're not going to have kids mom!"

me (said with sarcasm because I'm her entertainment committee, and I know better): "Won't that be awfully lonely for you?"

my daughter: "I'm going to have lots of pets."

Me (I take care of the 6 pets we currently have): "Well... pets are a lot of work...."

my daughter: "I thought of that! That's why (my sister) and I are going to live next door... so you can help...."

Lacy Oh no the preteens. I think the teen years are our punishment for what we put our parents through!

Sue Well Iwouldn't like to be sooki...I have enough trouble with my own thoughts...Being invisible would be fun for a while...Having super power gets my vote...to be able to whip through project without being tired would be really nice.

Let's put it this way... my mom is in Heaven somewhere laughing as I type this!

Susan Mary Poppins! BRING it on. When I was pregnant with my oldest, I kept dreaming I gave birth to a puppy. Then I'd forget I had a puppy. Ah... the guilt!

Hey Sue, I wonder if Harry Potter would lend you Dolby for awhile....

Lacy Dolby would be cool in small doses, what with the noise and things being broken!
