Enemy One Now Available for PREORDER!

With Epic 5: Enemy One having officially gone to editor, the long wait for Epic’s fifth installment will soon be over! I said earlier this year that it would be a Summer 2016 release, and everything indicates that this will still be the case. Though an exact release date isn’t available yet, my best guess leads me to believe that late August / early September will be when Enemy One sees the light of day. That’s not far away! This estimated release is taking into account time with my editor, time for me to implement the editorial changes, then time for Enemy One to enter the product design phase. I’ll provide more release date updates as things progress and warrant.

I’ve gotten a lot of requests for preorder availability with E5, and I’m excited to announce that preorders are officially being accepted! You’ll notice as I explain the preorder process that the price of Enemy One is higher than prior Epic books. This isn’t greed, it’s actually necessity! Those who have followed the progress of Enemy One know that it’s an exceedingly long book, presently clocking in at just over 245,000 words. If you want to know how long that is, stack Dawn of Destiny and Hero atop one another. Yes, it’s that long! Because the product is so much bigger, so are the production and print costs, far exceeding the costs of any other book I’ve produced. Without further delay, here’s the preorder breakdown, with clickable links to the order pages:

PAPERBACK (USA): List Price: $17.99, Preorder Price (S&H included): $20.00, Review Discount Price: $18.00

HARDCOVER (USA): List Price: $24.99, Preorder Price (S&H included): $27.00, Review Discount Price: $25.00

There are a few things to explain, so let’s get right to it! First and foremost, you’ll see that the Preorder Price for both book versions is slightly above the List Price. This is because all preordered books are shipping directly from me (and yes, they’ll all be signed!) and have Shipping & Handling fees included. Also, the above links are for USA-based sales only! If you’re an international fan and wish to purchase a preorder copy, use the contact form at the bottom of this page to get in touch with me. Don’t worry, we’ll be able to work it out! “No fan left behind.”

The second thing you’ll note is something called a “Review Discount Price.” It’s been a long time since an Epic book has been hot off the presses. With the release of Enemy One, a lot of readers are going to be noticing Epic for the very first time. The Review Discount Price is an incentive to get some fresh reviews out. If you’re willing to write a review for Dawn of Destiny on Amazon, I’ll shave off a portion of the cost for each version of the book. The “Star Rating” has no bearing on the Review Discount Price! I want to and must stress that. The number of stars given is not what’s important – what’s important is that Epic gets a little bit of a freshening up with Enemy One rolling out. If you’ve already written a review for Dawn of Destiny, feel free to write one for any of the other installments that are out there. And if you’ve already written one for all of the installments, well, consider yourself discounted, because that’s pretty awesome! All you have to do to get the Review Discount Price is point out your review to me with your preorder using the contact form below (providing a link to the review is always helpful), then apply the coupon code REVIEW2016 to your order. The discount is just my way of saying thanks for spreading the word. After such a long hiatus, Epic needs it!

I’m incredibly excited to get Enemy One in your hands. It has been a long, long road developing and writing this book. You’re going to absolutely love this new installment of Epic.
