Who's Excited for Blackmoore?!

I can't believe I haven't posted all summer. In my defense, it has been a summer of migraines, mysterious illnesses, and four kids at home. But migraine or not, I have to tell you guys how excited I am for the release of Blackmoore in less than ONE MONTH! The official release date is September 10th, although you might be lucky enough to find it on shelves a day or two before that.

Here's one thing I am very excited about: Blackmoore received a starred review from Publisher's Weekly! Stars are hard to come by from professional reviewers, and I am thrilled that the story I labored over with so much of my heart was found worthy of a star. They called it "riveting and evocative." I think those are my two favorite words now. You can read the full review here.

Now, let's talk about fun stuff happening for the release.

The Launch Party. I have never had a launch party before, which makes this one all the more exciting. It's going to be held at The King's English in Salt Lake City (15th and 15th) on September 10th at 7 p.m. You can see the event here. If you like to dress up, come in your Regency attire and there will be a chance for you to take photos with a real Regency man....like Philip, or Henry, or maybe both. :) I will be signing books, of course, and there will be delicious things to eat. We will party like it's 1820.

Other events:

Book signings all over Utah. (Check the events page for upcoming events. I'll be updating it as I get the information.)

A 100 Blogs blog tour. (Yes. 100 Blogs. I can't believe my publisher coordinated all of this.)

And maybe, if my health cooperates, a few out-of-state events for my awesome fans in the west. (Arizona, I'm looking at you.) So let me know if you want me to come to your area and if you can help set up a visit to a book group or school class, even better!

I've also been working with a designer for a snazzy new look to my humble website. So one day you will click on here and everything will be redesigned and awesome. I'm verrrry excited about that. It's like redecorating my whole house.

And now I'm off to plan more Blackmoore awesomeness! I hope to see you all at an event soon!
