Deadlines, who needs 'em?!

I missed my deadline! I really wanted to have The Tusks of Odoben on Amazon's virtual shelf in November but it didn't quite work out. Lesson learned: I will not create a self-imposed deadline ever again. Writing should be fun and never feel like a job. And jobs have deadlines.

With that said, the book will be available very soon. My favorite first-readers have already read and critiqued the manuscript. I've made the necessary changes and fixed the typos. So now we are working on the technical stuff: adding chapter links, resizing images, etc. So very soon. I can't wait!

I'm also looking forward to starting on the sequel for Deacon Leeds and the Pyramid of Symbols. What a thrill it's going to be to step back into Deacon's shoes and work the Symbols of Life. Oh boy! For now, here's a sneak peek at the cover for The Tusks of Odoben

Didn't Rachel do an awesome job?

Till next time, keep reading and writing (and patiently waiting...)
