Rudyard Kipling's The Jungle Book, A Short Play for English Speaking Audiences

Ahhh... So this one is not a foreign language adventure, unless you are learning English.  This short play was written by Christine for her school's outdoor performance theater.

The book is fully reproducible and contains all of the necessary director's notes. This is a 35 minute, 13-20+ actor/drummer performance.

Description from Amazon:  This 35 minute play was first written for performance on an outdoor stage with minimal props and no sound or lighting requirements. Scene changes happen within the action for a fast moving story. Nearly every role is a lead allowing a broad range of actors to be showcased. A variety of drumming interludes are used to accent the acting and create the jungle atmosphere. The script is based on the first three chapters of Rudyard Kipling’s The Jungle Book (Mowgli’s Brothers, Kaa’s hunting, and “Tiger, Tiger”) and the lines are true to the artful language of the 1890's. Kipling himself plays a role as he narrates the story for his daughter (or son) throughout the show.
