It’s official: you’d better not have sex before marriage. And if you do—the less the merrier.
A new study has found that women with between zero and one sexual partner are the least likely to divorce later on, with women who had 10 or more partners emerging as the most likely to see their marriages end, according to the Institute for Family Studies.
INTERESTING. Why? Because it could suggest Paulo Coelho was wrong and there’s at least one thing that can substitute experience, and that is marriage.
The same research could support Khalil Gibran who thought we choose our joys and sorrows long before we experience them. Specifically, we plan to enjoy sex married or not.
Finally, Dwight Yoakam was correct: no compression or as little as possible - that's how you get a good recording. Apparently, when your husband is your first and last sexual partner, he’ll be the greatest of them all.
Nicholas Wolfinger, a professor of family and consumer studies and sociology at the University of Utah, concluded that the research “ultimately raises more questions than it answers.”
I suggest that the Institute for Family Studies will research how BEING A WOMAN in the new millennium who is trying to have a career, raise children, and maintain marriage all at the same time AFFECTS THE DIVORCE RATE.
