Moving On: A Twenty-Something Novella

This time is bittersweet for me and I think it's evident in the title of this book....Moving On. In every sense of the word I am moving on: from the characters, this series, my "freshman" status as a writer (I hope, goodness), I've moved (again)...it's been a year of shedding who I once was to become who I am today just like Scott and Co.

These characters grew with me and held the mirror up when I didn't want to face my own ugly. I've cried, laughed, gotten so angry at/with them it's weird that I'm saying goodbye. But it's time, I have new characters I've been neglecting for too long. Stories begging to be told. Stories I'm so excited to share with you!

Moving On is more than Blake's story. In fact, I guess you could say it's unfair to call it his story. Believe me, I set out to give him one. I fought to get a cohesive story from his stubborn ass, but when have any of these guys been easy? Instead I got a slideshow of these special moments, his favorite moments with his family and the stories behind them. He gave me plenty about his relationship with Erica (spoiler, eek!), but like all of my books involving these guys, it's more about the collective.

So yes, there is a Happily Ever After...maybe not the one you were expecting, but it's the one we need. Everyone will be ok because this is Fictionland and they've all been through enough. There's also a shout out to my next book and main character Bellamy Strong! Which means this might not be the last time you see the gang (or two of them anyway), but they will no longer play a major role.

Thank you all for coming along with me on this ride. Thank you for taking a chance on a series that focuses on all relationships, not just romantic. If you want to show your support or would like to let me know what you think, I'd love it if you left a review! Your thoughts and opinions matter a lot and whether you think you can write a review well or not, it doesn't matter because it's what you feel that's important.

Happy Reading!
