First off, happy 4th everyone!

I always say this: but I'm sorry I haven't been writing! What is the point of this if I'm not going to actually update the blog, am I right? We'll, I'm going to try harder. I've got a calendar, I'm going to write down days to blog, and hopefully win at this.

You read blogs. Otherwise you wouldn't be here, but let me ask you a quick question: What type of blog posts do you like to read about? Do you want to see more updates on my WIP (Work in progress)? Or more posts about what writers and readers go through, like this one here?

I've been thinking of doing some guest posts. I don't get a lot of foot traffic on here, probably because hardly anyone knows me and because I don't post often, so I figured, maybe I should do some guest posts. Why not? I'm all about helping out fellow authors. We need to work together in this industry, right? So if you want a guest post done, contact me and let me know, cause I think it'd be amazing!

Anyway, like all the other times, this post will be short but I'll leave you with a sneak peek into Marko:

His hand is on my cheek, inches away from my scar, and I flinch. He narrows his eyes in concentration as he gently rubs the pad of his thumb over the raised skin, and I inhale. "Everyone has baggage, Hayley. I have it too, can you handle that? I like you, and I want you, no matter what. You can't scare me away." He leans his forehead against mine, and our eyes lock. "We'll go as slow as you want, but baby, please don't run away from me. Don't hide. I want to know everything, the good and the bad."
My hand glides up to the back of his head, my fingers tugging on his hair. Knowing that he really does want me is a relief. I smile and laugh, feeling giddy. "I'm not running anywhere, not when I have you. It won't be easy," I warn him. "But I want to try. I really do. Starting with this." I grin before leaning in.
