Creative

Hi everyone,

I've been rather busy lately, with a p/t job and two new baby kittens to run after..as well as housekeeping, husband keeping, writing, editing, sleeping, avoiding computer.

I'm working on a travel guide book to South Africa. It's about 90% done. Not sure whether to add my adventures in South Africa and Zim or not.

I've start painting again, doing things I never dreamed of painting before.. painting ballerina's for one thing. Yellow, orange, purple, pink backgrounds...makes them stand out.

I used to paint watercolor flowers for years as a young teen until I learnt how to paint African animals; lion, elephant, rhino, zebra etc I never wanted to paint flowers after that. I did my first landscape oil painting at the age of 11.. I found oils rather easy. (I copied my mothers large oil which she did from a tiny photo. It was - long straw-like grass, mountains and trees.
Watercolor is much harder than oils..don't let anyone tell you oil is the hardest, it isn't. You can't make mistakes in watercolor, you can in acrylics and oils. You just paint over it with white and start again.

Painting African animals is what I love to do..(when I'm not writing.) I've painted every kind of African animal and bird you can think of..and sold them in the famous Kruger National Park.
You'll find me soon on fiverr, selling my art work. So if you want a lion, rhino, zebra, or elephant ..as a gift or for yourself - you know where to get them. Please let your friends know.

happy reading
