I’m exhausted and my upper back is sore from sitting too long in a hard chair – a small price to pay for an afternoon spent at an awesome Fourth of July party kindly thrown by John Jos and Gail Gerstner-Miller and featuring the likes of, well, them, along with S. M. “Steve” Stirling and his wife Jan, Jane Lindskold and Jim Moore, and Doug Potter and Julie, plus Wild Carder Chip Wideman and a bunch of cool people from the library Gail works at. Oh, and George R. R. Martin.

It was about as swell as you would think.
