Sadness On Release Day

Today, I should be celebrating the hell out of my release day, but I have no joy. This week has been so incredibly sad and hard on my psyche. I cried on the phone with an author friend last night and expressed my frustration with events of late. She said, "Harper, people need escapism now more than ever. Your book might bring them the happy they need."

Well, if people have little value for human life in the real world, not sure how fiction can change that but I get where she was coming from.

The Dallas incident hadn't even happened yet and I was already batshit with sorrow. I cannot fathom what is happening to our world.

In any case, Ironic, Book 1 in the Kinky Connect Chronicles is ‪#‎FREE‬ on All Romance eBooks. You can download the Mobi or ePub version for your reading pleasure. It should be available for FREE on Kobo later today and remain that way until July 29th. A kinky erotic comedy might do the trick if you need to laugh.

Thank you so much! Yes, if we don't fix what's broken and try to heal, things can only get worse and worse is not something I want to see in my future. In anyone's future.
