THE HARDEST THING ABOUT WRITING
Sweat drips down my forehead and my chest throbs with anxiety.
"Just emailed you the round one edits," my editor alerts me in a Facebook message.
I delay opening the email for at least a day, maybe two.
Once I open it and take a look at the comments inside, I'll briefly wonder if I should really be doing this.
Then, I shut off my brain and thicken my skin and dive into fixing the issues.
