haha It had the opposite effect on us, humans, though. We got restless and spent countless hours out at night. We'd take rides especially on dark roads, in unpopulated areas. Yet, our hope to see more faded as time went by and nothing else ever happened. I still love to go outside at 3AM though. I guess old habits die hard. :P
My opinion is that we have too much detection technology today that deters outside exploration into our world. I think the word is out. I recall often hearing about UFO's as a child, but not as an adult.
There seem to have been some years that were especially rife with UFO activity. I don't know the rhyme or reason behind why earth is more of a hot spot some years but not others, but it's pretty interesting stuff.
Maybe it depends on the way they travel. Maybe spots are aligned some years and not others. Who knows?
Hey GG.So my parents were on the Hanford Nuclear Reservation in WA along the Columbia river rock hounding or fishing or something and it got dark. Then there was a light and it was moving in 90 degrees, sharp and fast in the night sky, and it stopped and hovered for awhile.
The local radio was all crazy with people calling in (this was years ago, btw, no cell phones) about the light in the sky.
Then the radio went silent. The DJ was still playing music and doing the DJ thing, but he no longer talked about the lights, UFOs or anything. Like 5 minutes prior he wasn't going frantic over aliens.
That's why my parents thought it was some government testing. They put the gag order on him. Plus, they were on the nuclear reservation. Anyway, you never know what's out there in the night.
wow The light moving and all sounds familiar. That might be a common point. As for the DJ going silent, it's simple. He stopped talking about it because he was outside looking at the light. :PI told you I was an unconditional believer so I'm more inclined to think that if the government was involved, it was a cover up so people wouldn't be afraid. :P
Haha, Well the Dj was still talking, but not about the light and wasn't taking more calls. It's scarily Man in Black creepy.I can buy that theory! Maybe Hanford is like an Area 51.
Yes indeed. Creepy! (Hmm the DJ might have had pre-recorded talking and music. :P) He had to be curious too.I don't know what really happened, but it's hard to believe that if the government was doing tests, they wouldn't have told a DJ out of everyone. What if he had leaked the news on the radio? And usually what they say is that it's a weather balloon not experiments so...speculations are open! :P
