Well, okay, it's technically not my first blog.

I used to be a part of this really great book review blog called Whatcha Reading Now? but that was a long(ish) time ago. So it's my first blog *totally on my own.* So, what to write about? I think, at this point, I'm more comfortable talking about other people's books than I am my own, so I'm thinking that's a good place to start. Right now, I'm reading two really great books. One is YA contemporary, the other is MG SciFi which are two totally different genres. Fun, right? The he first one is HOW IT FEELS TO FLY and the second isn't even out yet so I won't mention the title here. But I love reading two things that are both so different at the same time because it gives me a chance to see two very different voices side by side and determine why one read might be appealing to one audience while the other read desirable to a totally different audience. Plus I usually have more than one book going at once just because my mood changes AT LEAST twice per day, so why wouldn't my reading material? Okay, I think that's enough musings for my sort-of-first blog post, don't you?
