It begins!

Welcome to my first blog post for Goodreads! As I'm just getting set up here, I'll make it quick and try to stay on focus.

First things first. Last week was exciting times for me. After launching my first full-length original novel at Gencon, it went on sale to the rest of the world at large.

The book is called Tales of the Invisible Hand, and it's best described as Pre-historic Diesel-punk Sci-fantasy! Yeah, I know. Try saying that five times fast. If you're as big a fan of pulp adventures like Conan or John Carter as I am, I suggest you give it a look. In fact, here's an interview where I talk a little more about it.

So far the book is selling well, and if you're curious about who I am or what I've done, yes indeed I've been writing for a little while now. To this point, I'm probably best known for a steampunk novella set in Privateer Press' Iron Kingdoms setting, Way of Caine. It was first published in 2013, and followed by another novella published exclusively in No Quarter called Cold Steel.

For those fans of the teleporting magical gunslinger Allister Caine, I'm happy to report that Way of Caine will be followed by a trilogy of Caine's continuing adventures. Better, the first chapter of the first book, Mark of Caine, can be found at the back of Tales of the Invisible Hand. Better still, Mark of Caine is slated for an October release, so if you need a Caine fix, it's coming very soon now. Indeed, as I write this, I'm putting the last finishing touches on the book before I dive back into the world of Tales of the Invisible Hand to continue with the sequel.

So there you have it. I hope you give my books a look, and if you do me the honour of reading one, I would love to hear your feedback, for better or worse.
