I find your routine and dedication to it inspiring. I have a therapy journal for anxiety/panic attacks that I try to keep but it's very hard, or perhaps I'm just afraid to see what ends upon paper lol

My routine is pretty much the same, only I don't put on make up. I treat it like a professional career as well although I do get a hard time from my husband and a few others that think it's a hobby. They always expect me to drop what I'm doing to do whatever. It gets annoying. Ever have that problem?
Writing has always been a hobby, and a ....stress outlet...for me. I'd never thought of it as been a career for me, but I can respect the authors that do. I have many of my own characters, but I guess I'd best stick to fanzine- style writing, or...just my own, as I would never want to...enfringe on a copyright, which would never be on purpose. For me, writing is just fun.

It's always a challenge when you work from home. My family is respectful of my time when I'm writing. Especially now. In the beginning it was more of an issue because there's a learning curve.
But, occasionally the grandchildren will sneak in or one of my sisters will just drop by and because I'm usually so good about staying on track, I will stop and be with them. Because, in the end, THAT's what living is really about, right?
I'd start small. Just say, I can't be available to you from (pick your time range) at all. Please don't ask. Do you think that might help?

Do what gives you joy as long as it harms no one else. Right?
Very true, as I love to write. Have fun writing, as I sure have fun reading it, and dreaming it, especially...about the Carpathians. I've had some wild, crazy, but fun dreams because of them.
I have and most abide by it. I keep the house clean, no small children and I get most days a good 10-12 hours to write, research, etc. It's just my husband calling alot because he's bored at work. I will try to lower my time to 8 hours a day, with maybe a longer lunch. But this is my career as well, he just doesn't see writing by anyone as a real career he says. But he loves your Ghostwalker series lol.
Thanks for sharing this with us. I always wondered. Figured it was a lot a work and dedication. Love ALL your work ♡♡♡
Hi Christine, guess what I decided to go to? I really nervous and excited because of the amount of people but I'm going to go to the RT romance book lovers convention in Atlanta, GA may2017.
I'd love to go to that RT Convention in Atlanta, as I miss that beautiful city; haven't been since Christmas 2007. Too bad, I can buy the Romantic Time magazine--though I greatly dislike the Erotica stuff in it-- but an employee at my local Barnes & Noble, told me that it was only available on-line now. I was just about to subscribe to it...oh well.

I have no idea if I'll be there next year or not. That's pretty far from home. But, I know many of my friends will be there!
