The Undead Pool Ranks The Best Jokers of BATMAN

PictureHey,

This is Mace Murdock, A.K.A. The Undead Pool.  I spent most of my existence battling one supervillain after another.  I know when I’m up against the best of the best and the worst of the worst.  In the brand spanking new novel The Undead Pool, I battle Zarathustra (cross between the Joker and Sinister), and Crump (Donald Trump as an orangutan).   Am I successful?  Who knows?  I could have been killed and my ghost is writing this blog.

Where was I?  Oh yeah, the best of the best supervillains?  Now asking someone at a comic book shop who the greatest supervillain is could lead to one of the biggest fights in history.  Trust me.  I know.  There are a few less comic book shops in the world because of that debate.  It is as dangerous a question as asking which is better: Marvel or DC?  We know Marvel reigns supreme when it comes to their Cinematic Universe.  Now for comic books that answer will be different depending on which nerd you ask.

Today, I’m focusing on one supervillain.  Yes, the Joker.  There have been many versions of the Joker since the dawn of time with several different incredible actors playing them.  Cesar Romero played one of the most comical versions of the Joker.  Heath Ledger took the character to the darkest realm possible.  Mark Hamill voiced one of the most demented and comically versions.  His jokes do kill.  Yes, that was a pun on The Killing Joke.  Jack Nicholson portrayed a combination of all versions of the Joker.

Which one was the best?  I love each one of them, but Heath Ledger was the most impressive Joker of them all.  Yes, I’m saying he’s my favorite.  Cesar Romero would be my second favorite followed by Mark Hamill and Jack Nicholson in dead last.

You’re probably wondering why I didn’t add Jared Leto to the list.  I haven’t had to battle that version in person…yet.  Plus, a majority of his scenes from Suicide Squad ended up on the cutting room floor.  We didn’t get to see all his demented madness in its full glory.
One day, we will and then I’ll place him where he belongs…Arkham Asylum.

Superheroes battle the living dead in this hilarious spoof on the comic book universe!

The Undead Pool is a humorous and demented origin story of former mercenary Mace Murdock, who after being subjected to an experiment from the evil clown Zarathustra that leaves him with accelerated healing powers and the hunger for human brains, adopts the alter ego The Undead Pool.  Armed with his new abilities and a twisted sense of humor, he joins forces with superheroes Stable, Psychotic Menacing Schoolgirl and Tigernaut to battle Zarathustra and his zombie clown army.  The comedy never ends in this science fiction and horror parody of every superhero and supervillain that comic book enthusiasts love and hate.
