I’ve had an amazing year as a debut author, and before CLANLESS, the second book of the NAMELESS series, releases on October 4th, I need to do a little blogging repentance and update this UPDATES page.
In the past year, I’ve had the chance to do book signings in book stores, Comic Con, Writers Conferences, and schools from the West Coast to the East Coast.

Signing with authors Julie Reece in Alpharetta, GA and Ilima Todd in Salt Lake City, UT. Cool opportunity to sign a book for Utah’s Attorney General Reyes.
Fancy night out at the after party for ApollyCon in Savannah, GA.
Tea with regency author, Sarah M. Eden
Hanging out in the green room with author Christopher Paolini at Comic Con.
Carving out time to do some “work” in beautiful locales.
During my interview with the Kit Lit Drink Night podcast in Raleigh, NC I was exposed to perhaps the greatest drink combination of all time: Pepsi and Peanuts! Glorious!
Had the full southern experience by eating a fried chicken on a sweet potato pancake the size of a basketball. (no I didn’t come close to finishing it!) No wonder the south didn’t rise again. I could barely get out of my chair at the restaurant after attempting that meal.
This Wilmington, NC donut shop was amazing. I still haven’t forgiven my local tour guide for insisting on the stop.
I’ve been to visit multiple schools in multiple states. There really is nothing better than connecting with teens and sharing my love for literacy and big goals.
I love challenging teens to put themselves on the page. I’ve had the privilege to work with some great teen writers over the course of this year. These teens in South Carolina were particularly impressive.
