Assistance required
People who have visited this blog before may be wondering why I haven't blogged for such a long time. The answer is that I have been blogging about walking until a year ago, and the blogs have been very successful, but having had five heart surgeries in recent months, and still waiting for more, walking is currently not on my itinerary so I have chosen to blog about something else.
Some of you may already know that I have written novels, which haven't done particularly well as e-books on Amazon. They are probably buried so deep in the Amazon system that people who are not specifically looking for them will never, ever, find them, so I intend to go down the agent and traditional publisher route instead. Before I do I'm about to ask for your assistance as proof readers to avoid wasting my time with multiple submissions and rejections.
First I'd like you to examine the book cover and tell me what you like or what you don't like about it, but please give me your reasons why so that I can consider making any necessary changes.
Would the cover attract you if you saw it on a shelf in a store or library, or would you dismiss it as something you would never choose to read? Please tell me your reading preferences, and what kind of book you would expect to find behind the front cover of my novel. This is a market research exercise to put me on the same wavelength as readers, so please be honest with your answers.
Having commented about the front cover, please read the blurb on the back cover and give me your honest opinion, would you want to open the book, after what you have read, and read more?
If you wish to offer an alternative narrative for the back cover, please feel free to make suggestions. All will be read and all will be considered.
