Writing Reviews

Writing a book review can be a fun way to let other readers out there know about your opinion and possibly urge or discourage them to read the book themselves. While you can simply just click a star rating, an actual review proves far more helpful. Here are some of the steps i found from wikihow about how to write a review.

1.Take notes along the way.
2. Think about the books genre and whether the book fits or doesn't fit in the assigned category.
3.Think about the books over all theme.
4. Consider the authors writing style. Every author has a certain way to how they write. A voice almost. Does the authors style go with the book?
5.How well does the author develop plot points?
6. Give it a overall rating.

On a star rating system, people tend to go to the extreme end of the bar. Meaning a 5 or a 1. Its perfectly fine to use the in between stars. Remember what you're saying when you pick a rating. 5 stars would imply you loved the book and there is nothing that hampered your enjoyment. 1 star is saying that you basically hate the book and found it to be most unenjoyable. And the in between stars all have their meanings as well.

I hope you enjoyed this post and hopefully you learned something new.
