After of a decade or so of being non-published (after Secret Vow), I'm happy to report the publication of my second novel The Raven Girl. Believe me,I have been writing like crazy since SV was published in 1997, but the US publishing industry hasn't been very cooperative! So I published Raven Girl on my own, and the experience has been fantastic! I feel like Raven Girl is really my very own book, and I loved every step of creating it, even that pesky formatting business. The best part is that Raven Girl was part of a much, much bigger manuscript; and so I'm taking each chapter and turning it into a separate book, which will allow me to release a number of novels quite quickly--the next will be out in September 2011. So much better than the old days, when you had to wait a year or longer for a book to be printed and put out for sale.
