Blurb Opinion Time!
I think the most troublesome thing about writing/publishing is the blurb. How do you know it will catch attention? What does the reader want to know/not know? So, I've come up with two blurbs for Shattered Warriors. Yes, they start the same. I want to know which you like better, or your opinion if you don't like either! I'd love to hear your feedback! Blurb #1:
A thousand years ago, the Qikan race is nearly obliterated when all the adults fall over dead. Madness plagues the survivors, and each child is born Cursed.
Now, with the help of her four Warriors and faithful butler, the warrior-queen Erza strives to locate the scattered remnants of her people. When a mysterious Qikan relic is discovered, they find the path to redemption…but to follow the crystal, they need the advice of an extraordinary man.
Erza's first meeting with him is electric and explosive. He agrees to help her, on one condition...
As the Madness eats at the core of her Warriors and her race’s enemy dogs their every step, will they succeed in their quest? Will he prove to Erza that love is not just a human fantasy? Or will pride and hatred fuel the Madness and consume them all? Blurb #2:
